Looking for an easy hors d’oeuvre or just a little something extra to top that big bowl of soup you’re about to dive into? I found this Prosciutto Crisps recipe last Fall and decided to try it with a bowl of Split Pea Soup that I whipped up in my Slow Cooker – it was the perfect accompaniment, slightly crunchy and crisp with the perfect hint of salt and sage! You literally need 3 ingredients and an oven and voila – within 15 minutes they are ready to serve!
- 8 Slices of Prosciutto
- 8 Fresh Sage leaves
- Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Line the baking sheet with the 8 slices of prosciutto. Sprinkle sage leaves over prosciutto and drizzle liberally the olive oil over the sage and prosciutto slices.
- Bake for roughly 14 minutes until crisp and the edges of the prosciutto start to curl.
